No Sessions April 8, 2021

With regards to the COVID-19 pandemic, Calgary Northside Soccer will follow the guidelines set out by the governing bodies of soccer.

Hi Soccer Enthusiasts,

Hope you are well.  CNS received an email update today.  Due to the short notice, we will be cancelling the session tonight.

CNS will arrange for replacement sessions so only a group of 10 will occupy the entire field.  Stay tuned...

Stay safe & healthy, CNS Administration

Below is the last notification sent by CMSA on April 8, 2021.  We will continue to update the website as news is relayed to us:

Good Morning Admins & TDs;

Late last night Alberta Soccer received and update on the field splitting guidelines for indoor spaces from the Government of Alberta.

“In accordance with the return to step 1 of the re-opening plan there is no allowance for splitting indoor fields for 8 & 2 group training.

As of today, April 8, 2021, INDOOR FIELD SPLITTING IS NOT ALLOWED. For outdoor spaces we can continue to use space through splitting as long as physical distancing at a minimum of 3 meters between training groups is maintained. Please see the specific language from the GOA below;

  • Only one youth group can occupy an indoor playing surface at a time (for example, arenas, fields, courts or pools).
  • An outdoor playing surface (for example, arena, field, court or swimming pool) may be occupied by more than one youth group, as long as 3-metres of physical distancing can be maintained between groups of 10 and the groups do not intermingle.”

Thanks, CMSA
