Northside Soccer Registration for City League Indoor Groups

We are offering city league indoor soccer for boys and girls U7 through U19 age groups and will enter teams based on our registration numbers.

Northside cannot and will not guarantee that teams will be entered for every age/gender group and at every level of play. This depends on registration numbers as well as sufficient volunteer team officials.

Academy Fees

Calgary Northside introduced technical sessions several years ago included with registration fees. The quality of play has increased in city league soccer and in order to offer Northside players more opportunity for training, we are introducing an academy fee. Academy fees will cover the following:

U7/U8/U9:  1.0 hr weekly player clinics
U10 to U19:  15 hrs of team technical training

The academy fee is going to provide for technical sessions this indoor season covering the cost of PASS technical trainers and facilities.  The technical sessions are also intended to provide a resource to our volunteer coaches and team managers.  Developmental / Mandatory Academy Fees will be charged at time of registration.  If a difference exists, a refund will be processed when equipment & uniforms have been returned and the volunteer tracking sheet has been submitted by the team at the end of the season.

Teams with PASS Head Coaches as team coaches will also pay extra Head Coach fee.  The cost will be $100 per player; which will be charged against your credit card, when teams and player placement has been finalized.

Deposits

CNS relies on volunteers to step forward with their time and energy so that our Club can offer a high-quality program at a reasonable cost.  At the time of registration, Northside collects a $125 volunteer deposit.  **Please note that to qualify for a volunteer refund, you must be approved and set up in a volunteer position.  If you are assigned  one of the volunteer roles listed below, your deposit will be refunded at the end of the season.  Further details can be found on our Volunteers page.

Northside requires two deposits: $125 for uniform (for each registrant) and $125 volunteer deposit (one per family).

  1. If you are paying the uniform deposit by cheque, they should be postdated to March 15, 2022 and volunteer deposits are due at time of registration.
  2. If you paid online, cheque deposits aren't required as your credit card number is sufficient.

*** U7 and U8 registrants are not required to submit a uniform deposit as a CMSA sponsor will supply uniforms.

Northside Soccer registration fees do not include the following expenses which may be applicable or desired by the teams or parents:

  • a practice ball, shin guards, and footwear
  • tournament and travel expenses
  • team social events
  • additional practice fees
  • additional training and/or fitness sessions
