Northside Soccer Registration for City League Outdoor Groups

We are offering city league spring soccer for boys and girls U8 through U18 age groups and will enter teams based on our registration numbers.

Northside cannot and will not guarantee that teams will be entered for every age/gender group and at every level of play. This depends on registration numbers as well as sufficient volunteer team officials.

Academy Fees

Calgary Northside introduced technical sessions several years ago included with registration fees. The quality of play has increased in city league soccer and in order to offer Northside players more opportunity for training, we are introducing an academy fee. The $100 fee is going to provide for 10 technical sessions this outdoor season covering the cost of PASS technical trainers and additional field time required for these sessions. The technical sessions are also intended to provide a resource to our volunteer coaches and team managers. The academy fee is going to apply to all registrants at every level of play. We believe it is a reasonable fee that all players and coaches can benefit from.

Northside requires two deposits: $125 for uniform (for each registrant) and $125 volunteer deposit (one per family).
a) If you are paying by cheque, they should be postdated to October 1, 2017.
b) If you paid online, cheque deposits aren't required as your credit card number is sufficient.
c) If you elect not to volunteer, then you can pay the $125 volunteer fee immediately with your registration fees.

*** U8 registrants are not required to submit a uniform deposit as a CMSA sponsor will supply uniforms.

Northside Soccer registration fees do not include the following expenses which may be applicable or desired by the teams or parents:

  • a practice ball, shin guards, and footwear
  • tournament and travel expenses
  • team social events
  • additional practice fees
  • additional training and/or fitness sessions
  • additional fees that may apply for Tier I, II, III and IV teams including team entry in the fall season.
  • additional fees for teams coached by PASS
