2025 Outdoor League

Calgary Northside Soccer is open to players from all communities. All technical training is administered by PASS coaches.

Grassroots / Training Program

CNS has designed and implemented a new and innovative format that provides eligible players the opportunity to participate in the CMSA league without sacrificing lifestyle while providing a flexible schedule for each family.

The outdoor season runs from April 2025 - September 2025.  The season is broken into two sub-seasons:

  • Spring (Sp): April - June
  • Summer (Su): July - September

A valid non-refundable Community Association Membership is required for residents of Citadel ($30), Edgemont ($35), Northern Hills ($30) and Ranchlands ($20).

CMSA / Competitive League

Calgary Minor Soccer Association (CMSA) is the governing body of soccer; where Calgary Northside Soccer (CNS) is a member of CMSA.

Payment structures and evaluations are based on the age groups whenever possible.  If there are suitable players registered, CNS will enter teams in age appropriate groups.

Registrations after September 15 will be reviewed.  If teams are not accepting players, the player will be moved to the Grassroots / Training program and the difference refunded.

Field address:  Arbour Lake | Citadel | Dalhousie | Edgemont | Evanston | Hamptons | Kincora | Nolan Hill | Northern Hills: Notre Dame (CHV) & Ascension of Our Lord (HAR) | Ranchlands | Sage Hill | Tuscany | Varsity

For each age group the following applies and is included in registration:

  • ASA Insurance
  • Grassroots:  Jersey (Size)   |   CMSA:  Gear
  • Medal for U4-U9

CNS cannot and will not guarantee that teams will be entered for every age/gender/level of play and/or at every location as this depends on registration numbers.  If there are insufficient registrants for an age/gender/level of play, the club reserves the right to combine age/gender/level of play, move Grassroots players to a different location and/or transfer CMSA players to the CNS Grassroots / Training program. The refund policy below applies as CNS still incurs administrative costs.

Refund Policy

The club has a strict refund policy.  Refunds will be issued 2 weeks before the start of the program for Grassroots players or 2 weeks before CMSA fees are due (September 2, 2024) for CMSA players, less an administration fee of $100.00 per player or half of the registration fee (whichever is the lesser of the two).  After this period, a refund will only be issued for medical reasons in writing and accompanied by a doctor's note.
