Calgary Minor Soccer Association (CMSA) is the governing body of soccer; where Calgary Northside Soccer (CNS) is a member of CMSA.

Once tryouts are complete, Coaches and Technical Director will meet to form teams for ALL age groups by the week of October 6th.  Once teams are formed, team officials will be assigned to teams and a welcome letter sent before October 7th.

If you are unable to make the tryouts, the player will automatically be placed on the lowest team as:

  • CMSA team roster registration deadline is October 7th per CMSA Handbook.
  • CNS can always move a player up in CMSA, but not necessarily the other way around

Once the coach(es) have seen the player, you can discuss player placement options with the coach(es).

A BIG thank you to the Government of Alberta for their generous support!

The support received from Government of Alberta directly impacted Calgary Northside Soccer Club's ability to deliver a grassroots and competitive program for the next two seasons. Funds will be used to purchase vital equipment for the successful operation of the club and player development & growth, such as:

  • new portable goals and anchors
  • outdoor & indoor soccer balls and
  • pinnies, cones, equipment bags, nets and other general equipment

“We are extremely grateful for the support from the Government of Alberta. The Community Initiatives Program (CIP) grant will help procure vital equipment that allows Calgary Northside Soccer Club to make soccer accessible for Calgarians. We share the same vision with the Government of Alberta and are excited to help enable sport activities in our city.” Tyrone Irons, President, Calgary Northside Soccer Club
