With regards to the COVID-19 pandemic, Calgary Northside Soccer will follow the guidelines set out by the governing bodies of soccer.

ABBA facility is now set-up to accommodate training as outlined by the governing bodies.  The indoor program will restart on February 25, 2021.

Please be sure to refresh and check the schedule regularly as CNS will pick up as many indoor sessions as possible.  Link to Indoor Schedule.

Happy Saturday!

Today, Feb. 6, 2021, Dr. Hinshaw and Minister Shandro announced that effective Monday, Feb. 8, 2021, limited team sports training will be allowed in the Step 1 ease of restrictions.

Under these new guidelines:

  • Groups of 10 individuals, including all coaches and trainers, will be allowed to participate in indoor and outdoor group training.

This is great news for sports! We have been in contact with ASA and they are working to provide us with more documentation, expected to be coming on Monday, as we look to return to an environment similar to Phase 1 training.

With regards to the COVID-19 pandemic, Calgary Northside Soccer will follow the guidelines set out by the governing bodies of soccer.  The Provincial Government has banned all public events until further notice.   At the end of the season, CNS will issue refunds as long as ALL costs for the fiscal year has been covered or issue a credit towards the 2021 Outdoor season.

Good afternoon Club President’s, Technical Directors and administrators,

Today, Jan. 29, the Government of Alberta and Alberta Health Services announced the ease of restrictions that will affect minor sports, with some restrictions lifting in “Step 1” on Feb. 8, 2021. We see this as positive news and we are connecting with ASA and the City of Calgary to see how these restrictions will be implemented at the local level.
